"I get to love you, whatever it takes." Si Elaine Marco ay tila may perpektong buhay: maganda, matalino, at paborito ng kanyang anim na overprotective na mga kuya. Ngunit sa likod ng marangyang pangalan, may mga sugat ang kanyang pamilya na tanging panahon lang ang makakahilom. Sa isang hindi inaasahang pagtatagpo sa isang grocery store, nakilala niya si Albie Mendoza-ang lalaking babago sa tibok ng kanyang puso. Ngunit ang pag-ibig ay hindi laging madali. Sa pagitan ng mapang-aping pamilya ni Albie, ang selos ng mga taong nakapaligid sa kanila, at isang madilim na trahedya sa gabi ng kanilang reunion, masusubok ang katatagan ni Elaine.
