Depression and lack of motivation isn't something Luke, the well-known romance novelist, can afford. But it finds him anyways and when he and his long-time girlfriend break up yet again it only seems to worsen when he can no longer visit his daughter. It's not until he meets Michael, his girlfriend's new boyfriend, that he feels any type of anything for anyone besides his ex.
