She said "please". This annoying, aggressive, angry girl said "please". I'm not sure anything could have gotten through to me the way that one softly spoken plea did. And, for the first time, I noticed her eyes. The sad, lonely, broken look that her blue-green eyes held, and i was left to wonder what had stolen the sparkle from them long before we'd met.
