(First of all, this is my FIRST book so please go easy and NO judgemental comments. Secondly, I actually encourage constructional ideas. Thirdly, my chapters won't be uploaded every SINGLE day, remember I still have assessments and NEED to study (So it'll probably be like every Sunday night, or when I have free time). Wings of deceit
A tale of love not told in the light, but a tale told in the shadows. Of broken chains and bleeding hearts learning how to beat again. Once a slave, always a slave. It didn't matter how much you'd like to deny the fact; it wasn't possible. One couldn't outrun fate and time itself. No one was born free. So why did everyone seek freedom, despite knowing it was unobtainable? The reason was simple: because it hurt to live being chained. Building trust with a person who has known hell itself all their life wasn't bound to be easy or pretty. Hidden beneath the layers can hide the cruelest things. A past a person would want to forever bury. He wore a mask to survive. But what happens when someone sees through it? 'He was supposed to be a savior. Instead, he unearthed every buried scar that I swore no one would ever see.' For a moment he hated having his scars being unveiled. My life turned upside down when I was 13 My father was murder right in front of my eyes by his own brother My mother betrayed me and my father When I was 13 I was thrown in a cell and haven't seen the light since 5 years later I was finally let out of my cell And was told I had to fight for my life ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After the war that destroyed mostly every thing in America, in order to survive three major cities were built to help restore what was lost. To get everything back to normal again. Around those cities are small villages were the poor lives. The people who are barely surviving. The major city is called Alancia and that is were Victoria lives. Her father use to be the Leader of Alancia along side with his wife and brother. Until one day his brother killed him in cold blood and locked Victoria up in a cell. When she turned 18 she was offered a deal. Each year Alancia holds a fighting tournament for public display. The biggest and the baddest fight in this tournament and barely make it out alive. She has to fight in this tournament and if she won she had her freedom back. If she lost she would loose her freedom once again. Victoria knows she can't pass up this opportunity up. Even though she would be reminiscing old memories And meeting someone who can ruin it all Whatever the cost is she is willing to fight. COMPLETED BOOK I was trained to be a weapon for the kingdom. I was forced into servitude to the King after my family was ripped from me. The town wasn't on a single map, so I guess my handlers thought it was the perfect place to hide. Everything goes unnoticed there, but that was until I learned the town's hidden secret. It wasn't on the map because it was built for the witness protection. This gave a whole new meaning to hiding in plain sight. I'm not the only one being hunted down. The government decided to round us all up and place us together. It almost seems like they wanted a bright red target on our heads. Now it is easier to be found. I know he's coming for me, but the question remains. Who will he bring with him? What happens when the town where everyone's hiding is found by their worst nightmares? ***** This book is selected as mature because of the violence depicted and the language used. Although it does depict much blood, it isn't overly described. If at any point, the graphics are too much, stop reading and message me about it. This novel does have spelling and grammar mistakes. This story is the first book I have ever uploaded to this site, and for those of you brave enough to read it, I applaud you. It really is horrible, like seriously bad.
