She turned down the dark wet alley and ran. With the human dead, she could return to hell, but first she had to escape the angel. He was too quick though, as he was of the light, and much more swift than she could ever hope to be. With a flick of his wrist the Firelight from his whip encircled her like a burning rope, making her fall and writhe in pain. She screamed in agony and twisted around frantically to try and stop the pain but the Firelight only bit deeper into her skin. "Stop make it STOP!" She begged and screamed. She could feel the tears slip from her eyes but the Firelight was lighting her up inside making them dry away before they ever left her face. She craned her neck and stared into the eyes of the angel causing her this torment. He was beautiful, frighteningly so, but he was of the light, and she refused to ever find one of THEM attractive.

Looking down at the demon he stared at her hair. Her hair was so blonde it was nearly white. Strange. He'd thought all demons were dark haired. He'd never met a blonde one before. Or should he say killed? Nonetheless she was hauntingly beautiful and it startled him. Staring into her ice blue eyes he felt his heart stir with things he hadn't felt in a very very long time, but he knew what it meant. He shouldn't feel ANYTHING for a demon. He felt like he was hurting himself the way he was hurting her now, but he forced himself to stay frozen. He wouldn't deny her beauty. He'd stared into many demons' faces the way he stared into hers now, but he'd never felt anything. But she was different. He wanted to ease her pain, but she was damned, and nothing would ever change that.
