Kendall Summers, if she's not moving from house to house its country to country, she's lived just about everywhere, so its no suprise when she finds herself in the upper East side, Manhatten. Working her first week at McDonalds, it seems to roll along smoothly, or should I say; that was until the captain of the basketball team, Mac Flurry walked through the glass doors leading into the fast food restaurant and ordered an Oreo McFlurry (ironic). Kendall being Kendall somehow managed to spill his whole order over him, I think she's well and truly been crowned as 'The McDonalds Freak Show'. So what happens next? - Made an embarrassment out of herself? Check. - Made a wonderful first impression? not. Check. - Made a moment worth being captured on tape? Check. Come join Kendall Summers and Mac Flurry in their story of coming of age, romance and the occasional side of awkwardness. A novel written by Kylie ALL RIGHTS RESERVED © 2015 #TheHippieTeens

There was Hanna, full of big dreams and reckless plans. Kim, sharp-tongued and fiercely loyal, with a laugh that could disarm the world. Luke, the quiet thinker, always scribbling in his notebook, trying to make sense of life before it had even begun. Collin, equal parts chaos and light, who could never sit still long enough to be caught. Hazel, all heart and hesitation, the one who held them together even when everything else began to fall apart. And Roanne, the dreamer, the glue between them all, with eyes that saw people for who they were-and who they could be. They met on a summer day too hot to forget, down at the park near the community center, where promises were made with pinky fingers and children's laughter echoed through the trees. Time moved differently back then. Days bled into nights, and the world felt small, safe, and theirs. But life, unexpectedly, has its own plans.
