This is a Star Wars story that takes place during the sequel trilogy (The Force Awakens - The Rise of Skywalker.) Like with my other story I will be changing some things up for this story as I like the idea of having these changes in there. I'll also be using some characters from the Star Wars Lengend's continuity. Which is one of those changes. I'll also be spitting this story into three parts one for each movie. (Though you could probably tell by the title.) Also I'll be changing up a couple of the characters ages and a bit of the timeline. And just so everyone knows in this story Rey will not be related to the Emperor. Which is another change. He will still have an interest in turing her to the darkside but that's it. Rey will have a surname though and it will be taken from the original Episode 9 Dual of the Fates script that was written. And like with the other story. I want to apologise in advance for any grammar/spelling mistakes I make. As I said last time feel free to make fun of me. I'd also like to say that the I do not own any of the characters I use in this story. All rights go to Lucasfilm and Disney.

They get adopted by extroverts. With less than a decade to his name and a temper that worries his teachers, Obi-Wan wouldn't exactly call himself an extrovert, but he reacts strongly to basic displays of kindness and Estai is nothing if not kind.

The story is one I've been working on after watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens - which if you haven't seen yet you definitely should... It's amazing! Din Djarin must defend the child against dark Force wielders who would gladly take the little one off his hands. He will have to decide whether to trust some new allies, for the safety of the child. Note: This was written before season 2 of The Mandalorian came out. I wanted to throw together some characters from different Star Wars series and see how they'd interact. Turns out, a couple of them did end up meeting. In this story, they get to go on a whole adventure. They learn some things about each other and about themselves along the way, which is often painful, but could create bonds of trust if that's what they choose. Getting into these characters' heads and exploring the Force and the galaxy far far away have been an amazing ride. I finished this story on May the 4th, 2020. Then later, my friends urged me to polish it up and put it out there. So here it is for anyone who would enjoy it! It's not meant to replace anything that's going on in the show (which has been amazing so far, by the way). It's just an exploration and speculation on these characters and their universe. This is a fanfiction. The universe, most of the characters, and most of the locales belong to Star Wars. If you search a character or planet on Wookieepedia and it comes up with nothing, chances are I made them up (because I checked, too, before I gave them names). However, they were sometimes partly inspired by existing characters or planets in Star Wars. My use of the mando'a language was inspired by its use in Karen Traviss's Republic Commando novels (which I highly recommend if you want to learn some things about Mandalorian culture . . . And they're good stories.)
