I remember turning. That's it. What happens in the time I turn , and turn back , is just a blur. I'm kili by the way. I'm a shifter. That means I'm a dwarf/ animal. When the company asked me to come on some qust .it was odd... I guss. I'm lost. And I have no clue what I'm getting into when I knocked on that hobbits door.

As Dwarves, loyalty is something that we take very seriously. Our fathers were close friends - almost brothers - and with a love and loyalty such as their's, I made a promise to Kili, my best friend. That was 45 years ago. And now we're all grown up; Kili is a soldier rallying with his brother Fili and uncle Thorin, and I am a married woman. But why now, after all these years, are my promises finally being stretched to the ultimate test?
