When the girl's mother informed her she was going to be married, the young elven princess was excited. Until she learned she was going to marry the prince of Mirkwood, the kingdom's old rival. The princess didn't want to. She knew she could never love their rival. But she would do anything for her kingdom. If her marriage could form an alliance with a powerful enemy, she would do anything. And that's what she intended to do.
