NOTE: "This novella is told from three different points of view; Bridget--the popular cheerleader, Sam--the handsome heartthrob and quarterback, and finally the main Character, Beth--a kind, smart and bashful school girl, who blossoms into a beautiful and confident Prom Queen!

Beth's Perspective:

I didn't know just how much my life would change when I started to fall for him; the boy on the football team.

I knew it wasn't right, I knew that he belonged to someone else, but she just didn't treat him the way I would, if he were mine.

I lay awake most nights, just thinking about him, about tomorrow in music, when I'll see his beautiful face, his warm, perfect smile and those piercing emerald eyes again. Does he feel what I feel inside every time we touch, every time our eyes meet, every time we're around each other writing a new love song?

I don't know... But something tells me he just might.

What does he keep trying to tell me, but never does? Why does he always look so sad? Why is his eyes always on me when he sings? Is he trying to tell me something? Is he dedicating the song to me?

If only I had one chance with Sam McGowen, if only I could have “just one kiss”--then I'd have all the answers. I'll know for sure, if he loves me.
