Sammy Quinn has always lived in a world of chaos. Even before the economy went to hell. Her father was a drunk loser who left her mom as soon as he found out she was pregnant. Her mother blamed Sammy for everything wrong in her life. Sammy learned the hard lessons of life early on. Trust was a foreign concept, and love was a fairytale. Sammy supported them through working odd jobs for people, like mowing lawns and running errands for them. They lived just barely scraping by. When she was 14, the government withdrew into itself. The neighboring countries soon followed suit. They said it was just to debate on certain things. What it was, they never said. And they never came back out either. Now, three years later, the world is a mess. Gangs are what run the state's now. And Sammy lives under the most powerful one, Demon's Bloodlust. When rumors of a new and powerful gang in the far west rise up, the entire New York state prepares for war, along with the other ten eastern state's that Demon's Bloodlust runs. But when the time finally came, they didn't know what hit them.

THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN WHEN I WAS LIKE TEN. ITS VERY BAD LMAO Staffie and her dog Unicorn, a white great dane puppy, move to her uncle and aunt's mansion after her parents 'died'. her uncle and aunt have to go on a business trip, leaving Staffie and Unicorn in a house full of boys... vampire boys. they all look to be around the same age, but in reality are thousands of years apart. she falls in love with the eldest out of the six brothers; Tayson, or Tay for short. when some questions of her past pop up, she has figure out who or more like WHAT she is. when she discovers her true identity, things turn upside down in her life. even if that's possible. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!" Mitch said, pulling a knife out of his leg. they were fleeing from the townspeople who had lit their house on fire screaming; "be gone evil demons!" all the couple wanted was to be able to live like normal humans, but atlass that was impossible. Reapers keep taking lives, and Humans continue feering them. and so, the couple grabbed their baby girl; Staffie. their hellhound; Unicorn and grabbed their death scythe's. -one year later- they arrived in a human city where some friends lived. Let's not forget the most important part, they can't fall for each other because that just takes the stakes up, you don't just wake up and get attracted to an assassin so you can be used as mafia bait, basically destined not to work.
