The hardest day for some people was the day that they knew the world would never recover from, 9/11/2001. But nobody thought that on that day, fifteen years later, the world would be so devastated that entire countries would be on lock-down... from the genetically enhanced disease called The Sickness.

Antique store owner Liz brings home a Victorian taxidermy hound from auction, unwittingly unleashing dark forces on her wife and son. ***** Nat Loman has finally married the love of her life, Liz, and is getting used to her role as stepmother to Liz's 5-year-old son, Liam.
