MAJOR NOTE: I wrote this many many years ago. It doesn't represent how I write now, but I finally got around to editing it and making it halfway decent. The characters have been changed quite a bit from when I wrote it back then. The editing took a few days, but I've finally finished. Eerised just wanted a chance to relax and play video games all night, but as it happens, the nerd repairing her computer at BestBuy didn't really have her best interest at heart. As someone who takes the Alliance v. Horde war a bit too seriously, and might have an alignment with a different much more dastardly faction, Drev might be the death of Eeri. She serves at the castle she was born in, the court of winter. Everyone can command her to do tasks and she has no freedom to leave. Those at the top of this world are the ruling Fae, next are ruling humans, next Fae, free humans, protected slaves and then the banished ones. At least as a slave she has a chance at earning her freedom from a ruling Fae to pardon her. She is also something more which is discovered as she grows up but she must keep it hidden to protect herself. As she masters her skills, she, along with her friends, are given the opportunity to leave and earn her freedom. It's the first step in finding herself and her answers and perhaps it could change her life in ways she couldn't imagine when she was taking everyone's orders in the kitchen. She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive.
