No one could've seen it coming. 

Not even Jeremy was able to swerve to avoid the truck. The sound of the crash was deafening.

When Kirstie later on finds out she has lost the ability to smile due to traumatic brain damage, she tries to live her life as normally as possible. All the while trying to figure out her own emotions, and searching for someone who could help her.

In the mean time, someone else Kirstie cares for is struggling to fight something from their past.

He needs some stability in his life, Scott, and I'm hoping you'll be his rock. I want you to promise me that he can trust you in good times and in bad. I want you to promise me that he continues singing. The last promise is this: promise to love and cherish him forever. Can you promise me these things, Scott? Can you promise to love him for the rest of your years?" Tears start to swell in Mitch's eyes. I walk down to where he's sitting and I wipe the tears escaping from his eyes. I take his hands and kiss them, and I whisper into his ear two words. "I promise."

Scott and Mitch we're going to film a video. They go out. Kirstin starts to suspect that something is wrong. Kirstin, Avi, and Kevin report them missing, moments later Scott calls Kirstin. Mitch gave himself up to allow Scott to be freed. Mitch is sent to the hospital after "feeling sick" Mitch finds out news that could change his and Scott's life forever. Mitch and Scott start fighting, pentatonix changed, Superfruit changed, Scomiche is no longer real. "I love you Scott, just remember that" those were the last words Scott heard from Mitch before everything went down. Will this be the end? Or will it get better?
