This is a Complete Short Story based off of Summoner's War (an app game for Android and IOS). This story I was practicing more on giving the monsters personality.

Raising a Hero
She had only wanted to have a working marriage and a happy family. Despite that, her husband leaves her for another woman after the loss of their unborn child, and just as she starts to pick herself up, she dies in a car crash. But this isn't the end of her story. Her spirit is picked up by her brother, a beginner god who needs help raising the hero of his fledgling world. Thinking he is offering her an opportunity to be a mother, she readily agrees, and he sends her down to his world with the gift of healing and a semi-ageless body to aid her on her quest. As an avid- and fairly unsuccessful- writer of fantasy fiction, I know that dragons are pretty much the pinnacle of existence. I dare anyone to argue. So, when my mundane existence comes to an end and I am offered a choice of whatever race I liked upon reincarnating into a fantasy world, of course I chose dragon. Little did I know that my life as a dragon would take more than its fair share of twists and turns. But hey, I was a dragon... Everyone knows you don't mess with dragons. The Coalition
