Lucy is the commander of the Fiore and Magnolia Guards. She stays here as a safe haven from her pursuers, fighting pirates and assassins (easily) alike. Until, Fairy Tail of course.
Natsu Dragoneel, captain of "Fairy Tail" is caught up in a battle with the Commander, what Lucy is known as. With that, he captures her as a hostage, treating her with hatred, anger, disgust, and cruelty. On this ship, Lucy realizes what it truly means to live life, and turns from the heartless, cold girl she was, into the cheerful, jubilant girl she is now. Perhaps it won't always be this way: you never know.
But she has a secret of her own. She journeys through many lands, far and near, attempting to discover what--or who--her "morning star" really is.
Raging battles, wars, break outs, anything--it won't stop the Fairy Tail from living, a fairy's tale.
Do fairies have tails?
The answer lies within the story of the Fairies.

One day Acnologia sends Natsu to finish the job. The dragons start by attacking Magnolia primarily to wipe out Fairy Tail. In the middle of the battle while instructing the other dragons, Natsu gets distracted when he sees Lucy and blacks out. He was shot out of the sky and taken into Fairy Tail's custody. But the pink-haired adventurer isn't in it for the money; no, that is a simple bonus. Natsu is in it for its wishful properties, able to grant a one and only wish to whoever takes it from the bearer. The only problem: he has no idea what it looks like, or where to find it. All he knows is that he needs it desperately.
