"I shouldn't have to share you!" "Screw you, Sam. I'm not one of your possessions!" I slip on my sneakers and walk past Sam, brushing against her arm. "Where are you going?" "I'm leaving." "You're not leaving." She follows me. "Watch me." I snap as I walk out her front door and slam it shut behind me. The rain immediately engulfs my body. With every step, I feel my anger rising to the surface. I need to get away from Sam before I say something I'll regret. A hand tugs back on my wrist and I slam into a chest. I try to pull away, but Sam grabs my wrists and holds them close to her and with the other hand, she cups my cheek. The fury behind Sam's eyes was gone and is replaced with a look I didn't recognize, nor have I seen before. Her eyes dart between my lips then to my eyes. She pulls my face to hers as she dips her head down capturing my bottom lip. At first, I didn't kiss back then I realize something. This is Sam. My back hits the side of Sam's car. She couldn't get any closer to me as she presses my body into hers and slips her thigh between my legs. Sam's hands guide my face as she quickly picks up the pace. I didn't know I could feel this way. God, why was I ever deprived of Samantha Westbrook's lips. The water runs down my cheeks, sliding between our lips. Sam pulls back only for a second or so and then she crashes our lips back together, finding our rhythm she created. **** Parker Reyes and Samantha Westbrook have been best friend's since they were in diapers. They do everything together and are attached by the hip. Best friends. Teammates. That's all they've ever been, till one day, Sam does something Parker doesn't see coming. She kisses her. Parker starts to feel something towards Sam that is a little stronger than friendship. Has she felt this the whole time? And does Sam feel this connection too? They overcome many ups and downs as they try to figure out what they are and what they should become.

I had to admit, he was cute. His eyes sparkled nervously and his lips were a lovely shade of natural red. He had his arms crossed over his chest, a gesture that could possibly get him knocked out in this place. He looked as though he could fake a tough guy but at heart he was gentle. I had good instincts and they were screaming to steer clear of this guy. Why? Because he would break my heart. Why is that all the best relationships happen at the strangest of times? Laurel meets Trey inside of a Juvenile Detention Centre and the two of them become closer than anything. For Laurel, Trey was the first friend in her life. But for Trey, he intended for Laurel to be his last. Trey is heartbroken when Laurel leaves the Centre and moves away from town, never to see him again.
