The year is 2104, mankind has discovered the secrets of hyperspace. Theodore J. Conrad has been assigned to the Leopold, after the loss of his family Conrad cares little about the new technology that mankind discovers. But when a war on a distance Galaxy, on the planet Kronos, he tries to do whatever he can to help. After endless years of fighting the war is won and Conrad and Leopold are returning home, but a sudden ghost ship collides with the Leopold with a signs of life forms on board.

The 3rd fleet, having been late for the final battle, was forced to flee. The already damaged fleet, along with the refugees on board, had engaged their FTL drives and escaped from the xeno's grasped. they had slipped away from total annihilation and arrived somewhere foreign. This is their story, the saga of the last humans.
