The New Boss

Two opposite people, two different appearances, one job. Tying together the two very different lives of Ben Wyatt (Parks and Recreation) and Ted Hendricks (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty) (both depicted by Adam Scott).

So here's the sitch:
Two years ago: I watched 2 movies that then became my two favorite movies of all time: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Leap Year
Half a year ago: I start watching Parks and Rec, my driving force at this point.
An embarrassingly long amount of time later: I am sick and rewatch my two favorite movies (I'm busy and don't have much time to do so otherwise). Realization: Adam Scott is in both of them. Who else is played by Adam Scott? Ben Wyatt. (how I did not connect these dots sooner still befuddles me to this day)
A month ago (ish?): I rewatch the Secret Life of Walter Mitty, again. I realize that Ted Hendricks and Ben Wyatt pretty much have the same job. Coincidence? I think not!
Today: I start writing out a fanfiction attempting to change the best character on TV (Ben Wyatt: loving adorable nerd husband who is sweet, caring....) to the worst (Ted Hendricks, hard-ass, bully, to quote the movie, "a dick".)
I would recommend watching The Secret Life of Walter Mitty before this because, until the very end, I will not include Walter's side of the story. MY GOAL IS NOT TO GET YOU TO HATE BEN. My goal is to show the other side of Ted, and connect two very different personalities.
