George was oblivious to the constant buzzing of the door bell until it some how interrupted her concentration. brought back to reality she reluctantly peel her eyes away from the novel and set it face down on the coffee table in the center of her cozy little living room. George then stalked to the front door in her favorite green PJ's. eager to see who it could be at the door she was definitely not expecting any one. The buzzing became more alarming that sent a shiver down her spine she hastily opened the door. and was greeted by two uniformed police men. looking grim .

The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
