"Gimme the box now." My slightly squeaky voice ordered. The man's eyes shot up briefly, widened as I spoke. He must have thought a lady with such voice could do what I've done to him.

What can I say?

An un-lady-like growl came from the back of my throat as I looked around impatiently.

"Just give it to me already!" I barked at him and he cringed a bit. Backing away slightly, he tossed the silvery box at me. I grabbed it immediately and ran down the dark streets, not bothering to look back.
