As the days get more difficult, survivors are found. Threatening and untrustworthy enemies killed for protection of yourself and the people you have grown used to leading so much that you let them have a role with the wisest people taking in as the decision makers. Allies are scarce in the wasteland of rotting corpses reanimating and wanting to eat raw human flesh, then again, the only part of their brain activated is this parasite puppeting them which chooses who to kill. Don't trust anyone, because life is not how it used to be.
