Phil Lester is a pure-blood wizard, this year is his sixth year on Hogwarts. He feels like he picked the wrong House as he is in Gryffindor but has a connection to Slytherin. Though he doesn't talk about this issue to anyone, it bothers him a lot. While his friends are all Slytherins and everyone is afraid of him, it is nothing but likely that he plays it cool. Whenever you see Phil walking through the hallways, he is accompanied by Draco Malfoy, together the bullies of Hogwarts.

It's almost like these two are opposites, no other connection than victim and bully. Dan Howell looks innocent, shy and no one notices him. His mind and doubt appear to be his only friends. His house also being Gryffindor, he sees Phil a lot. If you ask any student or teacher even, they talk about Dan and Phil as enemies though Phil sees Dan as nothing but an obstacle.

Both sixteen years old, attending their second-to-last year.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
