They are fast, ruthless, and powerful and have been at war with the realm of Arlan for centuries in a war known as the Mystical War. For years they fighting had remained in no-mans land, and none of the people of Arlan even knew anything about the war. There was no way to enlist and no news of progress. However in the last decade the Zar had become more powerful under new command and the war was taking a turn for the worst.

Kyra didn't expect to be chosen, she hadn't even signed up for the Hunt. It was just by chance that they had found her, and now her life was going to change forever. Being taken from her home, she was to be sent to the academy to train alongside the others that had been selected. Only those who were compatible with a companion were taken, and Kyra was about to discover abilities that she didn't even know she had. Having a dragon as a companion was extremely rare, but would the addition of another dragon rider be enough to win the war once and for all?

The War Against Aberon (Rough Draft #1)
Vale Havon and Aberon had been at war for thirty years. Three decades of battle on the Eastern plains of Vale Havon's lands. This is why on the Western side Zaffre felt pretty safe. Helping her parents run the farm is her only duty and she was happy to do it. Things change, however, when her father gets sick. Bedridden he can't help with any of the dawn til' dusk work, and Zaffre is unsure if she can pick up the slack. Worse is the sudden death of their animals. With the autumn harvest on its way and already two horses down, things look bleak. The war still wages, and as more troops die Vale Havon grows more desperate. The Royal family is willing to do anything to save their kingdom. To keep their power. So, the drafts begin. Suddenly the Western border is not safe anymore. Zaffre knows if she's sent to fight her mother can't keep the farm running. So she goes into hiding. Except no secret stays hidden, and Zaffre's role in the world is far bigger than simply harvesting plants. Everything just got a whole lot more complicated. Excerpt: A cold sweat began to trickle its way down her back and a shiver traveled up her spine. It was when the hair on the back of her neck stood on the end that she realized something was wrong. She took a few more steps forward in the dark forest when she finally comprehended the thing that flashed a warning in her instincts. The sounds of the woods she'd been hearing all night, the birds, crickets, and scuttering squirrels had all gone silent. That only meant one thing, and one thing only, a predator was on the hunt. This time it wasn't her. *Trigger Warning, the book contains, violence, blood, fightingComplete
Eternal: Azriel
Eternal: (adj.) Lasting or existing forever; without end or beginning Athanasia never complained about her situation. She never felt like she had the right to. A random event leads her to befriend a small boy. A boy that she believed she would never see again. His situation was heartbreaking, she knew that there are others that are more unfortunate just like him. However, this one encounter changes everything she expected of herself, gave her freedom when the world only wants to swallow her up. --- "Why are you doing this? Why are you befriending me? Though we met five hundred years ago, why do you still bring me into your life? So much can happen in that many years but instead of staying with your friends or finding other things to do, you're with me. Why?" I ask again. Though I don't like being so forward, I can't help it. I'm scared to hurt him. He shifts his gaze to me. His hazel eyes gleam into my blue ones as if he knows something that I don't. "You're right. I had five hundred years, five hundred years to stay with my friends and five hundred years to find other hobbies." He pauses, taking in breath. "But I had five hundred years without you, we only had two weeks together. And those two weeks were the best I've ever had. That's why I want to continue them-with you, Athy." --- Disclaimer: All ACOTAR characters and plot belong to Sarah J. Maas. My characters and scenes are my own work.Complete
A Court of Scars and Shadows
Follows story line of the ACOTAR series.... picks off right after ACOSF, so of course spoilers are meant to be said in this story. For people who haven't read ACOTAR, read at your own risk, but fair warning you might be just a tad bit confused. ALSO... I will not be trashing any character, expect for assholes like Beron and his sons (expect for Eris). STORY DESCRIPTION: Gwyneth Berdara has spent her last year still not being able to leave that gods-damned library. She wants to leave, but every time she is about to reach the outside world, she freezes and goes back to Sangravah. She tells herself that she is safe, she is in Velaris, but nothing works. She feels as if she's still stuck in the same place from when she entered the library two years ago. One incident makes her leave the Night Court and into another court. How will she react? Azriel was there in Sangravah, but he had arrived too late. Ever since the incident, Azriel has been slipping farther and farther away from his family. He doesn't know why the incident had been eating away at him, it wasn't his first time failing at his job. Azriel finds shocking news that he must keep from Gwyn. The plot line derives somewhat from the initial description. P.S. : I do not own this art, I just made it as my cover! Same thing goes for the characters, Sarah J Maas, wrote these character from scratch. Except for my OC!Complete
A Court of Light and Shadows
** All rights to characters and plotline belong to Sarah J Maas, this is completely a fanfiction and I take no credit for the characters and places that Sarah J Maas has created** Born with wings that should not exist, Evanora (ev-uh-NOR-uh) has spent her life hiding in the shadows of Illyria. Concealed by her mother's desperate invention - a dark paste to mask the white leather of her birth - she learned early that survival meant silence, invisibility, and secrets. But when grief, fear, and fury spark a forbidden light within her, Evanora's secret can no longer remain buried. Hunted by her own people, she finds herself swept into the heart of the Night Court, where power, danger, and beauty are entwined. There she meets the Shadowsinger - unreadable, relentless, a warrior who sees too much. Tasked with training her, he becomes both her harshest trial and her most unexpected tether. Yet as whispers of war rise across Prythian, and the Autumn Court stirs schemes that could burn the realm to ash, Evanora must confront what she is, what she fears, and the truth of the bloodline her mother died to protect. In a court of fire and darkness, of love and betrayal, light may be her greatest weapon. Or her doom. [Also on AO3 under stvrlightt_cerys]Complete
