Life revolves around time. 
It's clockwork.

This story revolves around a girl called Avayah Kenzington. She's kept walls around her heart most of her life due to the fact that somebody very close to her left. Her heart isn't something to be messed with. She's strong and independent but sometimes people have flaws. Her flaw is her ability to find the goodness in others. She loves but not so easily. She knows when to step back and when to forget. 

Drew Peskew is one of the popular kids in Yeaker. His motorbike is his prize posesion and he hates being close to people. He's a bad boy with a tainted heart. He's not so bad in her opinion. Her life's not as perfect as everyone thinks it is. 

Brought together, they learn each others secrets and fears. Will they be strong enough to face the facts and admit they love each other? Maybe they shouldn't be together but maybe, just maybe their stronger together than alone.
