Imagine what the world would be like if we were able to transport anything we wanted using technology similar to cellular data; everything from apples to kittens, Amazon would be a thing of the past. Unfortunately, humans are still an anomaly when it comes to this new technology; countries are still racing to be the first to transport a full human without blasting them into trillions of data bites. After thousands of trials, people began to question whether or not it was worth it, and formed a resistance to stop the inhumane experiments before the countries fell apart. If the experiments are stopped, will humanity ever see the age of atomic transportation? What about the other new forms of technology that blossom as a result of this race? It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Oh how she wishes that she left her safety knife in her room. Then they would be safe. Her family! She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. (kinda like the movie Warm Bodies)

Four women who participated in one such trial--one *actually* sanctioned by the US government--are coping with their new lives when a member of said lab comes to find them, to let them know that the experiment they participated in has gone awry... and they are the only ones who can help fix it all. *TRIGGER WARNING for gore, violence (especially towards women, but NOT domestic abuse), oppression (to women, mostly), explicit language, possible sexual situations inappropriate for readers under 18. We saw artificial inteligence turn against its maker, we saw them "get a soul" and stand up alongside their maker but what if? This story tells a tale somewhere in the future in a time when cloning, androids and space fairing is part of everyday life. Humans are fractured into smaller factions, one of them is the Old World's Core, the technologically superior and more stable systems, where people, despite the recessions and constant wars live in peace and harmony, no matter who or what you are. The other bigger faction is the Unknown Worlds' and The Outskirts' systems, warmongering, in-fighting, chaotic forces with far bigger army and resources. Finally those who are neutral, with their local militaries. One thing is certain, on the ground they use armies, tanks and Verticals (they're mechs, just having a fancy name for them) while the space battles are done with spaceships (duh). In this situation, we'll follow the "life" of an android, the first military oriented mech Pilot, one of the many, code name: EVAs (Experimental Vertical Anima). They're funded and manufactured inside OWC territory but some were stolen, corrupted, converted or went AWOL. over the decades, EVAs were phased out by the ADAMs (Anima-Differential compensator Automaton (Male-template), however, these were far behind their predecessors by proccessing power and independence, so much so that they had to work with a human pilot but in turn they were cheaper and given they had male appearance, the whining part of the population was satified that now not just "women" were used in automated combat [yep, we didn't change THAT much]. Since that day, when the first automated Verticals first clashed and the OWC lost their most valuable system, a piece treaty was signed. This is the day when the unionised new calendar was formed, the Unionised Standard (UT). It's been 10 years since that day and the treaty was broken. This is where our story begins.

The globe was shrouded in the shadow of man and all his greed, the greens and blues so prevalent tarnished by a host more interested in profit than protecting or prolonging the planet. When desperation takes over, what will be left of our humanity? Nothing... The race would've extinguished itself, killed itself off for the last scraps of a world they stomped out. A human-sized footprint, the only reminder of our toxic presence. We would've been nothing more than a memory if not for the Unit. The Unit saved us. The Unit saved the World. The new-age phrase for robots. You may think that robots that can think for themselves is a bad idea. Well, so does the Government. Nobody knows the exact year. Or how long robots have been banned on punishment of death. All anybody knows is smoke, acid rain, and metal. And nobody thinks anything of it. Robots with minds as alive as yours being murdered in the slowest way possible? Normal.There are no uprisings. There are no rebellions. As far as everyday people go, the world is perfectly fine. As long as there are no robots. Because if there are, it's a kangaroo court on their fate. Aaran Sozos has spent the majority of her young life accused of being a robot. And as I'm sure you're aware, reader, if people call you something enough, you start to believe it. But when a classmate calls upon her help to find a missing brother, they need to search outside of the city. A city that is suspended above the earth. That is inhabited by robots. All I can tell you now is that they're doing a better job of keeping the mother nature happy than we ever could. But keep in mind, mother nature doesn't mind murder, either.

This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!

Fortunately for them, science has blessed them with a new discovery- a new blood type. The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus. Unfortunately, your attempt has failed, and you are now trapped in a cell waiting for testing. You are their newest subject, subject number 43.
