Everyday is just excruciating. Being mistaken as his brother, people forgetting his name, not even being seen at all. It's pain for Matthew. In his mind, he's slowly dying. But it's nothing compared to his unexpected new friend... who in fact is physically dying. How will the events play out? Will it be in their favor? Will they learn from each other? Or will time run out?....
((This fanfiction completely ignores the personifications and focuses mainly on real world issues that the characters may face. It's been a long time since Matthew, the incarnation of Canada, was out drinking with his friends Magnus, Berwald and Lukas so he's happy when they ask him to go out with them, but on the next day nobody seems to know where he went. Canada, also known as Matthew Williams, is always being ignored. He is constently confused for his brother America, known as Alfred F. Jones, and beaten up by other countries and nations just to 'get even with America'. Everybody thinks Canada is a weak country, that it's never seen war, that its people have never died for a cause. Canada decides to not go to a meeting one day to help his air force practice in case of an emergency. When the countries and nations realize he isn't there, they find a strange book instead. They decide to read it and find a note on the inside. Will everyone realize that maybe some ignore Canada because he makes them uncomfortable? Or is it just because he is usually peaceful? The book holds many secrets about Canada, some probably should be left in the dark, but only if the nations react badly. Okay, disclaimer, probably not terrible secrets, but this will be interesting. This is my first fanfiction. It's mostly PruCan. There may be other Hetalia shippings too. Canada is never noticed at world meetings. That is, until a certain Prussian notices him asking if he could stay with him for a while. Canada, being his nice self, happily allows Prussia to stay with him for awhile. While Canada and Prussia are living together many things happen. Their relationship grows closer as events happen. They both grow feelings for each other, but the other doesn't know. There's a lot of PruCan fluff and cute awkwardness. Like I said this is my first fanfic so I don't know how it will go. ~FINALLY FINISHED~Complete
