Tanner Conell is a regular teen. That is, until some old lady prophecies that he is a vital piece in a rebellion against dark magic. So Tanner is given gadgets and training, and the quest begins. He has to shut off 10 shield generators spread across the world to access the Obsidian Realm, where he hopes to take out the magic at its source. But there are distractions, both good and bad, and Tanner's journey becomes an even bigger challenge. Can he destroy the Obsidian Realm before someone uses it for evil?

The Dark Magic by TGR000

A dark magic that had been dormant for centuries was disturbed by local explorers in a mountain range in Washington. The dark force leaked outside to a cave entrance nearby where geologists were working. The geologists and their teammates desperately tried to contain the dark magic, but it overpowered them and rendered them unconscious. Shawn Steven, a mutant of sorts, was the only survivor of a hotel fire that raged out of control. He lived off the land for many years of his life, but people became suspicious of him and his abilities. Eventually, the local town drove him out into the wilderness to fend for himself in a small mountain side cabin. 20 years later, Shawn finds himself in Roanoke, Washington, where he encounters a dark magic force that consumes everyone unfortunate enough to be near the area.
