I decided to name this book Can Butterflies Cry because we need to remember the people we leave behind. It is good to remember that when someone is dying we need to give them something to hold onto. For this little girl, she loved butterflies.

It is a very lonely place when you know that you are dying. You realize that there is no future anymore; they need something to wake up for; something to remember, something to look forward to. We all need something or someone near the end.

This is one of those special stories and is what the book is really about. This is the story, which I have based my title on; this is Mandy's story.

Mandy is a little girl I know you will love with all your heart. Maybe you will remember someone, somewhere, just like her. One day you will be able to tell them about a brave little girl called Mandy.

Maybe you too, will see the beautiful butterflies and make someone else's little boy or girl happy, telling them the story of the blue butterfly that comes to sick little children, to make their dreams come true.

This story was the most beautiful story that was ever told to me; this will tug at your heartstrings and leave you thinking about all the people who have passed through your life. Maybe one day, you could help someone by giving them a dream of tomorrow so that they can forget about today. We all need a dream.
