      Poppy O'Brian prays every night to whatever gods exist that she will wake up in a normal family who do normal human activities that don't include hunting down demons or providing guidance to wayward supernatural beings. When Poppy and her twin brother are forced to attend an event in the place of their parents as embassies to a bunch of supernaturals her life becomes drastically more complicated, if that was even possible. 
      
      Alexei Grimm has always been considered the villain by most people's standards. Not that he cares all that much, in fact he quite enjoys striking fear into people's hearts without even trying. Unlike his soft hearted brothers he is willing to get his hands dirty if it means protecting himself and their people from those to would seek to destroy them. However, Alexei never accounted for the moment when he would meet his mate. Alexei might have to rethink and reevaluate  the way he's been living--if he plans on winning the heart of the one person who was made to save him. 
      
      The problem is she seems to be just as stubborn and ill-tempered as him and if that wasn't his only problem it looks like there is some dark druid on the loose trying use forbidden magic to awaken a dark power. What does he need to complete this rite? Oh only a virgin druid sacrifice and it looks like he has his eyes set on Poppy.
