Naava is an escaped slave who just wants to be left alone, to be able disappear from the world.
Too bad she's just not the type to be able to disappear. Upon arriving in Modaic, she gets into a bar fight with a bunch of thugs, only to be rescued by a stranger.
Enter Lord Kieran, the handsome and kind lord of Modaic. Naava now owes this man, and he wants her to be his new companion.
