Ariel Carter, 17 years old, dark brown curly hair, wide blue eyes, bags under her eyes, a particular set of friends, an above average student of Brooklyn Woods Highschool. But that's where average ends for Ariel. She's had a rough past, her parents left her when she was just 3, she lives alone and her aunt poses as her legal guardian, and one of her biggest secrets, she was the best case of insomnia.
The incident 2 years back has left Ariel nothing but bruises and broken pieces, she took 2 long years to build a wall, never to let anyone else in, in fear of getting her heart broken again.
But all this changes, when a certain someone comes into her life, making her boring, mechanical life into chaos, but the surprising past is, this chaos makes her life...
Enter Alex Storm, 17 year old, dark brown hair which almost seemed to be black, chocolate brown piercing eyes, at 5'12 he stood tall and proud. He was a shy, introvert kid since his early days, had a selective group of friends. But one thing about him that don't many know, infact no one except his mother and his best friend know, is the fact that he suffers from ADHD, ever since he joined kindergarden.
Join Alex and Ariel, in their journey through high school, heartbreaks, friendships, hardships and a deep secret that Ariel has been keeping to herself, since the past 2 years. What happens when just as Alex starts to break her walls, her past comes hurling back at her, will she run away just like she did the last time, or will she face it head-on with Alex by her side?

"You're a spoiled, ungrateful brat." Asher snarled, turning around so suddenly that I nearly fell from the sheer momentum. His blue eyes blazed with an icy fire as they narrowed into slits.
"Why are you so ignorant?" He took a large step towards me as his words rocketed around the room.
I bit my trembling lip with all the strength in the world.
No freaking way.
Absolutely not.
I refused to cry in front of him.
"Can't you see that I care?" His tone so dangerously quiet, so very low. I pushed myself back further into the stony wall, hoping it would swallow me whole. "Is that not enough?"
His eyes dropped to my lips, flickering back up as quickly as they had fallen.
All I could see was him, all I could feel was him. He had captured every single one of my senses.
And I hated it.
He made me feel things that I sure as heck didn't deserve to feel.
"To hell with the rest of them." He growled, "you're mine."
