Only an experiment worthy of being called a 'Test Subject'. Now Wake Up. It was only a dream, wasn't it? You can still trust the ones you believe, you don't have to face the truth yet. (This book is a first draft, the real book will be available to buy, however it isn't published yet, there will be grammatical errors and much of the scenes are ones I came up with on the spot, this book hasn't had any editing whatsoever, the published version will read more smoothly and be more overall enjoyable than the first draft.)

I wrote this story when I was a freshman in high school. It is horrible, but it was a story that all of my friends got to have input in and they encouraged me to finish it. A group of friends has their lives changed forever after they are kidnapped and experimented on.

If you doubt your writing skills, read this book. It'll make you feel better, trust me. I wrote this when I was in sixth grade, and now I can't even get through the first chapter without cringing. Okay, here we go: ------------- Before I tell you my story, I have something to tell you. My twin sister, Fern, and I, we are special. Not the kind of special like we are the best at an instrument or we know more facts about something than anyone else. We are so special that our connection is something that only happens every million years. we also inherited something random from our adopted mom that makes us SUPER special. To find another of us would take over a hundred-million years. You have to promise to not tell anyone though. If you do, scientists will come for us by the thousands. We would be put on public display where millions would flock around to get a mere glimpse of us and what makes us special. Scientists and genetic experts on many grounds would put us in cages. They would come and force us to be part of painful, tiring experiments. This already happened once, we don't want it to happen again. If you promise not to tell anyone, I'll tell you. Fern and I have the ability to communicate with each other and other telepathic people without moving our mouths over long distances. And... We have fire and ice powers.

We're about 4 years apart, he's only 10 years old and still the smartest person I know. I'm 14 years old, and starting my first year of high school. And may I just say, what a great way to start the year off by first having all the parents be abducted by aliens. Compared to the rest of our family it makes me feel stupid, but then compare me to our parents and my IQ goes from stupid to at least average. Our mom is pretty smart, my dad isn't that smart, and sounds like he really only cares about ducks. People make fun of him for being so smart, but I love him, most days anyways. He's my best friend and he says I'm the coolest big sister he's ever had, to be clear I'm the only sister he's ever had. He has one of those space HQs one of those bigger on the inside tiny on the outside, and invents all and everything. Including our dog, I'm allergic to anything that sheds, but have always wanted a pet, so he made me one himself. I just wish he'd ask me first before he tests his experiments on me. Not thinking twice, she answers all of them. Cathy feels guilty afterward, and never wants to talk to him again. But he wants to meet her. Little did she know his visit will be soon and blood curdling.
