What felt like a battle of eternity had finally come to an end when the Niflheim Empire met their devastating fate. With the downfall of the enemy, long awaited peace returns to the nation. Unfortunately despite the victory, tragedy continues to bestow itself upon the kingdom of Lucis. Within the ordeal, the kingdom had lost their most beloved King Regis. And as their last heir, Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum ascends to the throne as Lucis' new king and beacon of hope. However, plagued by the guilt within his heart, Noctis finds himself imprisoned behind the bars of darkness. But somewhere in the depths of his torment, a bright light shall shine down upon his darkest dreams. (Book 1 & 2) Prince Noctis of Lucis was a lonely child when he returned from Tenebrae after his wounds had healed.
