Paris is under constant attack by supervillain Hawk Moth. Two average teenagers, Marinette and Adrien, were called out in the mist of it all to become the superheroes Ladybug and Chat Noir. Marinette continues to refuse to reveal her true identity to her partner, who turns out to be her school crush. Adrien is becoming more suspicious about Ladybug's involvement with his classmate and friend Marinette, when Ladybug supposedly had asked Marinette to assist Chat Noir when he was unconscious.
Tikki herself is urging Marinette to reveal herself to her partner, suggesting that it would help them become better teammates and friends. Marinette is finding herself become more and more confused as to what is right and what is wrong in the story of the two superheroes.
