In a world with a corrupt government and a trashed economy the homeless are hunted and families are limited to one child.
Any families caught with more then one child is kidnapped and publicly killed excepted for the first born childhood is put into slavery.
They limit the kids because as evolution comes the wish to keep track of the gifted ones, but as the gifted ones grow more rapidly will the government control them or be over thrown?

The Gifted
A virus is was what caused our world to break, what caused the good to become the bad. Kids were being hunted down and captured for this gift that was given to them by that virus. It's been seven years. Parents tried to hide them, but they got killed and took the gifted. No child was safe, from five year olds to basically eighteen. It's the apocalypse for us. You can't trust adults. We don't know why they want from us, but I'm willing to do anything to protect my her. Some gifts are stronger than others, some are weaker than others, some are out of their own control. We don't know why the military wants us but, their not getting us. I'll avenge my mom and dad, they'll rest in peace. The government took over completely but was quickly overrun by robots that they had created to enforce the newly created laws. As the robots continued to make more of themselves and become powerful, kids were mainly targeted as they were seen as bad to the mechanical monstrosity that was ruining the city. A teenager tried to keep most of the kids safe and hid them well, making sure they were safe with mothers and fathers who had already suffered losses of their own children being taken and enslaved. At the start of the government taking over, a group of people was forced out of the city due to their ignorance, according to the government that is. It became a comforting story to the scared kids that they'll come back and save them, told by the teenager who risks his life to save them. One day, the teenager that was saving the kids suddenly goes missing after a night.Terminé
Escaping the Monster's Embrace (OLD BEING REWRITTEN )
(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. The Corrupted Soul
[Book 3] People say things can change drastically in just a couple years. I couldn't agree more. In just a few years I went from a regular kid in high school, to Ruler of a zombie species. Of course for everyone else, it was much more than a few years, it was three hundred to be precise. Once the Crawlers wiped themselves out all that long ago, we thought it was over, that Humans would regain control of the planet and things would soon go back to normal. We were wrong. After another man tried to wipe out the human race, it was made apparent that even the original Crawlers may not have died out. They're more illusive than their ancestors, it is unclear whether this entails their danger or not.Terminé
