Alexandra is alone and afraid. Despite many years of hiding and no leads that point to the whereabouts of Alex, the Secret Service still want her, and if there's one thing that Alex knows for certain, in a life that is full of unknown surprises and deadly consequences, is that they won't give up until they have what they want. If that means bringing down an entire pack of werewolves then no problem.
Alexandra is now 17 and homesick and despite every bone in her body urging her to stay away she returns to her hometown of Santa Barbara, California where there is more than one surprise waiting for her.
