This is a story about a girl who has lived in an ancient redwood forest all her life. One day she meets a boy wandering through the forest. He is lost and hungry and she takes him in. From there... no wait, cant give too many spoilers.

The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different. The Forest is a story telling you about Sam Argent!! A fun girl who just moved to a strange town down Oregon. But for the last 6 years she lived isolated from the world, even being homeschooled by her parents. She found it weird and sad, but never actually dared to stand up to her parents. Untill after six years of not leaving the house (which was isolated in a forest a little away from population), She was going to a public school for the first time in a while. But...
