Nothing was normal in Quinn's life, nor was it normal in Mr Hemmings' life. Quite frankly, normal didn't exist in their world. It didn't exist in any world. It was a state in which society was considered to be if they weren't outcasts or different, if they weren't Quinn, if they weren't Mr Hemmings. It wasn't only felicity and bliss, what a normal life was considered. Only felicity and bliss didn't exist in a lifestyle. Loathing, felicity, prudence, discrimination and bliss existed, though.
Normalcy was only an assumption of which was made for the pleasure of humanity. It was made to judge another and define lives in one's perspective to satisfy one being.
Humanity consisted of assumptions.
Perfection was another of those things which didn't exist. It was clearly an assumption of fallacy. One which was far from logical, in fact. We were all dependant on perfection and being perfect to the eye of judgment; the jarring utterance of our own self - criticism.
But if humanity aimed for perfect, then we all failed.
The more raw and impaired one was, the more beautiful they were.
Because what even was perfect?
You weren't going to find perfection or normalcy with or without flaws. Normalcy and perfection were illusions. Illusions which we all assumed existed because we all seek something of pure beauty which consisted of no flaws. We all seek something of which we call pure beauty and not one of us was willing to accept that perfection and normalcy didn't exist.
Assumptions.
It's what humanity made life of.
It's what was inaccurate and immoral.
It's what Quinn and Mr Hemmings lurched through.
----
Quinn Brindell and Luke Hemmings were colleagues from the very beginning of their own pilgrimage.
Luke was manipulative to begin with and Quinn was just the victim, but it was so much more than that.
Behind a façade, Luke was a broken man, a shattered one at that and he'd learnt what he knew from experience while Quinn learnt what she knew through observing.
"Sometimes, bad things happen, and we cant do anything to control them."

Kat, a 16 year old girl, had just gotten her life where she wanted it. She and her family were all on good terms again. She had lots of friends, and even a boyfriend. But people love to come and mess things up.. Yeah, they sure do.
And i think being bought is far up on the list of 'things i don't want to happen to me'. Especially when it's by some Aussie rock band.
