"That rat!" You will get what you deserve!" I exclaimed to no one in particular, with only a lonesome gamin the only to hear, he quickly scurried off. After some time of soberly sitting there I eventually came back to my senses. I could scarcely understand what had just happened to me, let alone a real motivation. I realized that I must be dirty from such a rough night. My name, Fortunato, was true. I had escaped death by the slimmest of

"You, Master, are now dead," Death spoke chillingly. Its bony fingers free of flesh slid down its scythe. Its hood ducked itself down, almost to show a sign of reverence. "The ritual is now completed. I am, most definitely, at your service, Master." The young man with raven hair and green eyes wasn't too pleased with Death. Before it said anything else, he carefully studied his surroundings. The way to the other life looked nothing like it had when he'd first died. Unlike the fist time, he stood outside Godric's Hollow, but the place was deserted and pitched black. It was so dark, Death easily blended in; the green glowing stone in its scythe was the only thing that alerted Harry of its presence. "Why did I not see you when I first died?" He demanded, anger from his previous life still lingering on. Death raised a bony finger. "You were not ready for me to reveal myself just yet. Your soul was too pure to be corrupt just yet; first you needed to complete cycle when it came to being my master." "And what is the cycle?" "One must use the cloak to hide from the danger. Resist the temptations of the resurrection stone. Master the wand made from the wood of the Elder tree and kill with it. One needs to corrupt their soul by taking a life." Death left some lingering silence, wanting for its new master to take in the newfound information before asking, "what do you wish of me, Master," even though it knew what was going on in Harry's mind. "You do not have to move on, I can grant what you desire." "You can grant me my family?" Death's hood tilted itself, making it seem as if it had ducked its head. Its bony fingers lightly tapped its scythe, making the sound of bone and metal echo in Harry's ears. "Undoubtedly," it confirmed. "If you wish to pay the price." "Do it."

Most impressive rank: 1 - Fairytale *** Casey is all alone in the werewolf world, the only family she has left is her crazy dad. her mum died of cancer, causing her dad to go crazy and start beating Casey. What's worse is that she can't get away from the violence because when she goes to school they do the same. *** I close my eyes so I could listen and smell everything in case this was the last time I would ever be in this beautiful forest. I chase away any bad or worried thoughts because this place seemed so sacred it did not allow them. I breath in and catch the sweet scent of lavender flowers that speckled the ground in little clumps and the dry smell of dirt that hadn't been rained on in a couple of day. I listen to the steady titters of birds as they fly from tree to tree, collecting little twigs and leaves to build their nests with. I listen to the buzz of the bees greedily feasting on the flowers that scattered around the dry forest floor. I open my eyes to take in the scenery, rays of sunlight filter through the green canopy, penetrating through the leaves and casting a green-yellow effulgence over the ground that wavers as the trees rustle in the light whispers of wind. The crunching of dry leaves under my feet alert me so I cast my eyes to the floor and watch as I step on each individual leaf and dry twig, enjoying the snapping sounds that echo through the near silent forest. Gnarly roots dip into ground and twisted branches reach down, fingers grasping the air, as if reaching for me and I shiver, thinking of my father. I cast my eyes up to think of something else and instantly calm as another puff of breeze rustles the leaves on the trees and ground gently. I look ahead and notice the steady thinning of the old trees and run towards it, loving the feeling of the air in my air and clothes. I spot what I think is light dancing on waters surface and sprint for it. Then I break through the trees, making it to the lake.

"A hungry wolf at all the herd will run, in hope, through all, to make sure of one" I heard the whisper again as I sat on the forest floor, blood dripping from my wrists. I knew those words to well and with a gust of wind hitting my face I looked up to see HIM standing in front of me with eyes pure red. I smiled weakly "it's been a long time dev..." I closed my eyes then felt arms wrap around me. "To long that's for sure! What have you done" he growled. "Dev-oh no! What have you done!" I heard two other voice that made me smile. "You all left and moved on, now its my turn" I whispered. "Oh no it's not" and with that said I let out a piecing scream and I felt him bite my arm. ************* It started when I was 6, I was always the outcast of family and they made sure I knew it.
