1976, the hottest summer on record and the break before the Marauders and Lily's sixth year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They return to school expecting nothing out of the ordinary, however, the fallout of Lily and Severus' friendship and the Slytherins that seem to be taking tips from their Death Eater Parents threaten to destroy everything they love and bring the destructive war that rages around them into the walls of the castle.

A cannon account of the Marauders sixth year at Hogwarts. The first of a trilogy that spans over their seventh year as well as the early days of the Order of the Phoenix.

The Marauders once again return to Hogwarts, this time for their fifth and most adventurous year. James, Sirius, and Peter approach the end of their Animagi mentorship with Minerva, allowing them to accompany Remus during his monthly transformations. Meanwhile, their rivalry with Severus Snape reaches all new levels, and Lily finds herself torn between them. Outside of Hogwarts, Narcissa embraces her position as a socialite in the Wizarding community and struggles to prevent an upcoming war. Meanwhile, her husband, Lucius, and her sister, Bellatrix, become ever more loyal to Voldemort, putting the entire Black family in jeopardy of attack by the vigilant and rapidly-growing Order of the Phoenix.
