The star of Danse du Nuit, Aleksi, has an interesting life. He's a heart stoppingly gorgeous, smug bastard who is at the top of his career. People pay thousands of dollars to watch him dance in productions across the world. He lives a life that most people would think of as perfect, after all he gets to stay beautiful forever doing what he loves for the rest of eternity, right? Wrong.

In the vampire world, that beautiful, smug man is at the very bottom of the food chain. Off of the stage and in the vampire world Aleksi is anyone's meat. He's been whored out, and beaten for the delight of vampires who control the vast territories throughout the world. However, Aleksi is far from a submissive whipping boy in his private pursuits. In the bedroom, he's the one who holds the whip while his lovers crawl for him. Why does someone who relishes being in control as much as he does allow himself to be used?
