The first book of the series. Young Taylor Morgan is a sixteen year old girl from the dusty lands called the dirtpit. After years and years of viruses and diseases her community has been gathered at that spot. Taylor has to survive these few days with her younger brother Heck and her abusive mother before she's taken away to the Garden. Once there she will have to go through a three year fame Academy under the leadership of her mentor and other recruit's.
Will she make it through this year and rise to the 4th year where she will have to shine even more? 
We'll see. Remember, the diamonds and gold bars might look stunning but once you touch them, you burn.
