'In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take..."

Ivy has walked Middle Earth for almost as long as the beginning of the land itself, surviving the world she was thrown into all alone, with no title. She has lived to see battles and wars throughout the course of time, never truly belonging anywhere or ever having a true calling. She thirsts for adventure, something to fill in the endless time that she will always have until the bittersweet kiss of death...
So, it's no surprise when a familiar Wizard shows up, offering a quest, that she just can't pull herself to refuse. 13 Dwarves and a Hobbit make up the company for the long road ahead, each of her companions teaching her lessons. Ivy finds herself learning and evolving from these folk, letting herself feel included again. But will it last...?

~Credit to J.R.R Tolkien for creating this amazing world and story. Credit also to Peter Jackson for turning this great book into a movie trilogy, this of which is what my story is mainly based off. I understand that my story may not line up with Tolkien's history in Middle Earth, this is simply for entrainment purposes. Please enjoy x~

Shadow of Mirkwood by elven-archer
34 parts Complete
In the heart of the cursed Mirkwood Forest, Legolas, the prince of the woodland realm, is haunted by an inexplicable feeling of being watched. Unbeknownst to him, his every move is shadowed by a female elf (I am not going to reveal the name), the enigmatic and fiercely skilled general of the Mirkwood army, who has vowed to protect her prince and her king - Thranduil. Legolas, however, remains unaware of her presence. Every midnight, she cloaks herself in secrecy and ventures out to meet him, masking her identity. Under the cover of darkness, she observes him carefully. Amidst the looming threats of darkness creeping into Mirkwood, the unlikely bond between Legolas and the general becomes both a source of strength and vulnerability. When news of the One Ring's existence and its devastating power reaches the woodland realm, Legolas, along with a fellowship of brave companions, embarks on a perilous quest to destroy the Ring and save Middle-earth from the clutches of darkness. In a tale of hidden identities, midnight meetings, and unspoken emotions, "Shadows of Mirkwood" explores the profound connection between two souls destined to protect their realm and, in the process, find solace in each other's arms. As they face the ultimate quest to destroy the Ring, their love becomes a beacon of hope in the face of overwhelming darkness. Will their love withstand the challenges of secrecy, duty, and the temptation of the Ring, or will the shadows that brought them together also tear them apart?

The One I'll Never Let Go Of (Kili fanfic)

24 parts Ongoing

Isola is a young hobbit woman who lives in the Shire with her less than parent worthy father. So she spends most of her free time with her cousin, Bilbo Baggins. One day, a wizard whom she vaguely remembers as Gandalf, comes to her while she is at work and asks her to join him and Bilbo at dinner that night for talk of a quest. She agrees to come to dinner, and is suprised to find a whole company of dwarves who are charming in their own way at her cousin's home. Isola joins the company for the adventure, and she learns that family does not have to be blood, and what it means to belong. And unexpected to her, she finds the one she'll never forget, and the one she'll never let go of. I would like to add that the chapters you read will not be fully edited until I complete the book. So there will be typos, flaws in the plot, ect. I am going to do some heavy editing at the end. Everything up until then is more of a draft. I do not own anything exept for Isola and some added plot. Everything else belongs to Peter Jackson and John Ronald Reuel Tolkein. Thank you!
