Ivy has walked Middle Earth for almost as long as the beginning of the land itself, surviving the world she was thrown into all alone, with no title. She has lived to see battles and wars throughout the course of time, never truly belonging anywhere or ever having a true calling. She thirsts for adventure, something to fill in the endless time that she will always have until the bittersweet kiss of death...
So, it's no surprise when a familiar Wizard shows up, offering a quest, that she just can't pull herself to refuse. 13 Dwarves and a Hobbit make up the company for the long road ahead, each of her companions teaching her lessons. Ivy finds herself learning and evolving from these folk, letting herself feel included again. But will it last...? 
  
~Credit to J.R.R Tolkien for creating this amazing world and story. Credit also to Peter Jackson for turning this great book into a movie trilogy, this of which is what my story is mainly based off. A young elf with red hair is fighting every day for her people, who is retreating before its enemy, who is sending his troups from his black tower, in the south of Middle Earth. Orcs are coming, more and more numerous on their lands. The company of Thorin Oakenshield from the Blue Mountains will not succes to put an end to this invasion. Their fight will just postpone the deadline, by sacrifying many lives, and destroying many others. And by seperating for a while the path of two lovers, who are destined to meet again. Sixty years later, the elf joins the fellowship to save Middle Earth, once and for all, from the threat that are gliding above its people, for a long time. How will they handle what they are and What will they choose? Will they fight for what they want or will they run away, hurting themselves and the ones they love? This is a fanfic.
