Being a doctor in a developing country like India we get to see a wide range of medical problems. There's a wide spectrum of diseases, all the way from new age disorders of a developed country to exotic diseases of the third world country. But one of the most horrifying problems that has been existing in my country since time immemorial is the gender bias even when the whole nation and the world is moving towards gender equality.
This short story is intended to raise awareness among people about this evil in the form of female infanticide and feticide that's still existent is certain pockets of the country.

❤️Completed ❤️ He is sleeping lying on his stomach on the bed, his naked back show his hard work on gym. She is clinging to the wall in front of him. She has some unwanted guests in her eyes whom she doesn't want to meet at all but that she is not ready to accept. By sliding from her cheeks, some of them go inside her lips, due to which she is getting a salty taste. She knows very well that these tears have no meaning because she was always unwanted in his life. She also never wanted to come into his life, but the situation became such that their lives were connected to each other and now she is not able to separate herself from him even after wishing. She stands from there with great difficulty taking the support of the wall and standing in front of the mirror and wipes for her tears. She is smiling while looking at her stomach, she caresses softly there and says softly. "Your dad loves you...."Complete

I was not a studious girl when I was forced into medical field because of my father who always expected the best from me. I didn't realize becoming doctor became so dear to me that it turned into a passion instead of a escape from my broken family and that's when I saw him again.. He made my heart beat a little faster but broke it just as everyone did and left me 5 years ago without any warning and stormed back in my life without one too. It was decided that i won't let him ruin me again but chip by chip the walls of my heart fell away seeing his efforts and that Infuritaingly handsome face. Should I let him in my life giving him a chance to prove himself? Or stick to the stereotype of "all men are same"? " I loved you" She whispers, the hand I'm holding cold against my skin. I stroke the skin with my thumb once, trying to get her eyes on me and then she looks at me. Hurt eyes look at me and in that moment I wanted her to look away because of the hurt evident in her eyes. After 4 years, seven days and something hours, she finally looked at me. "I know." I whisper back. "You still left me alone to fend for myself." My grip tightens on her hand. "I know. But I want to make things right. Do you think you can give me one chance?. " Ps: this story is of Isha mehra, sister of ishan, the main lead of my previous story, the setting of both the books is completely different and they are not interconnected. But if you want to have a better sense of characters that might be same as the previous book, you should read that first and then continue with this. But it can also be read as a standalone.
