Jess and her best friend, Hailey have a tradition. Every Christmas Eve, they would leave a note under the hidden bench in the park. Every Christmas, they would see if it's still there. They have done ever since they were 12. In the 8 years she had done this tradition, she had always seen the note right where they had placed it. But this year, there was a different slip of paper in its place. A story of how 1 small square of writing, can change someone's whole life. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Thanks for choosing to tap or click on this fucktardian shit. He just stood there. Looking at me. The way I had reacted had put him in a state of shock. "I... I um," Every word I had learned from pre-school to now had just flew out of my mind and left me speechless. "I should go." I could tell he could barely hear the hurtful words I had just chocked out of my mouth, but I didn't care. Not anymore. I walked away. Fighting back tears. I drove all the way to my house and when I got there I fell against the cold wall. What had just happened? All I knew is that I wasn't able to think straight. My mind was clouded with memories of him. I shook my head trying to forget everything that was involved with him. But I wasn't able to forget. These thoughts were a part of me now. He was a part of me.
