Camila had known Lauren since they were 15 years old. Camila's father was a pastor and Lauren's family were in their congregation. Camila always thought of the Jauregui family as polite and charming, but Lauren despised her family. Camila never knew why, she just knew that it played a huge role in Lauren's mysterious charm.

When Lauren receive a phone call that her mother is on her deathbed and wants to see her for the first time in ten years, Lauren and Camila's lives take a dangerous turn and Camila starts unraveling the mystery that got everyone so caught up on Lauren.
