Dan and Phil first met in secondary school. Despite the four year between them, they immediately clicked and became the best of friends. Dan shares some o f his deepest secrets and trusts Phil like a brother.

Dan is a year 7, 11 years old and new to Rawtenstall. He starts being bullied for having gay mothers, but Dan himself wasn't exactly straight. From a young age, he knew that he wasn't always just attracted to girls, and his feeling were proved when he meets Phil. Dan thinks that Phil is the best thing that ever happened to him. After being hospitalised after an attack, he confesses his feelings to Phil and soon become lovers. 

Phil is a 16 year old. He was okay at school. After beating anorexia, he wants to help people. Phil is very smart and his friends, PJ and Chris think that he's an amazing person. When Phil meets Dan, he feels like a hole has been filled. After tragic events, helping Dan recover from a suicide attempt and tries to help with his depression. Soon Phil has to leave Dan to go to university, making their relationship long distance and limiting the days where they can see each other.

And after 5 years of asking of Phil asking 'talk to me' will he? A/N Part 1 is mostly an in-depth backstory if you want to skip, although it might not make sense then. It also contains no actual 'Phan'. It will be entirely Phils POV for part 1 and mostly Phil for part 2. This book was inspired by 'Speak Up Already' by Geniusotaku. It's high school, and Dan has always been home schooled. When he gets to his new school as a freshman, he is instantly pushed aside as an outcast. The whole reason he was put into public school was his parents were moving away to live with his grandfather who was sick. So, he was to live with his dad's friend who also had a son his age. Phil was also an outcast, but he got along alright in school. Having to live with Phil and Phil's dad who was gone half the time, Dan and Phil get to know each other quite well. They soon bond over many things and Dan realizes he has feelings for Phil. But will Phil feel the same way? Will it work out? Or will Dan find someone else through the ups and downs? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~•3•~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my first Phan-fiction. Reading other ones gave me ideas. I just wanted to try it, let's see how/if this works out!
