It's been twenty years since Pitch's defeat. Everything seemed fine, until now.
The Globe of Belief did a few unusual light shows, the elves in the Workshop turned wild like kids on a sugar rush, the eggs in the Warren stared running around, and the fairies at the Tooth Palace did the opposite of what you said... Things were starting to get chaotic as the Guardians of Childhood struggled to find out the truth.
And one specific teenager is also doing the same.

My Guardian
When I was younger, my father told me stories of the adventure he had with Santa, Tooth Fairy, Sandman, Easter Bunny and Jack Frost. He said they had stopped the Boogie Man from spreading fear throughout the world. And I believed him. I believed in the Guardians and the magic such figures provided to a young child. I suppose that as I grew older the magic faded, as expected. I lost interest in the stories as I came to realise that I was no longer a child. I need to be an adult for the sake of my family. My sister Ciara needed caring for, dad was always busy, mum had left when I was ten and Ciara was a baby. I had always thought she had left because dad kept trying to push the story of the Guardians on me as fact and not fiction when I stopped believing in Jack Frost. As a sixteen year old, I find myself losing my ability to believe, not just in the Guardians, but in myself. I need to find out who I am and what I’m supposed to do, or I’ll become a single blade of grass in a field of normal society, never to experience anything. COMPLETED Percy Jackson/Rise of The Guardians Percy Jackson died. His soul isn't in the underworld. The death we expected, the missing soul and body we did not. Hades felt it, he said Percy died. So where is he? Jack Frost had a normal day, until he was telling a kid a story. The kid was afraid of the dark. When that poor kid fell asleep, Sandy's dreams came, but they turned black and shriveled up before they reached the kid. There was only one person who could do that. Fera Flame was unhappy in this cold, frozen world. She heard of Pitch, the seeping darkness that almost consumed the Guardians. The horrible Guardians that people could see and cherish. But they couldn't see her, only the flames. This Pitch might be able to help her, but he was gone.
