I Promised You A Future
I only wrote a few chapters because my life changed around. Everything that has happened has made it impossible for me to continue this book. I'm going to try to write a similar one, just change around some things.Terminé
The magnesium powder keg.
My entry for ONC 2025 In a dystopian future, Javier being a class 4 citizen, is denied access to life saving medication for his daughter. Hence, he decides to steal several bottles. During his getaway, he accidentally takes an android with a special and unique feature, it's ability to feel pain. Prompt: 70. After stealing something vital from the city, you flee in a car, only to find a discarded human-like android in the back seat. The Android has a critical flaw-and you must protect it from those who want it back. Trigger warning: Sexual Assault.Terminé
The Metaverse
An earlier version made the ONC 2025 Long List. This is the longer, revised version for the Wattys. Scott an insecure idealistic young man gets his girlfriend Zelda new virtual reality goggles that control one's senses and thoughts. The complete immersion in the MMORPG adventure cannot be distinguished from reality and raises the question will their love survive virtual realities with dream lovers and none of the inhibitions of actual reality. An exploration of ideas on love, sexuality, reality and the impact of future mind-altering technologies. Hopefully thought provoking and entertaining.Terminé

Love Metamorphosis
Life can change so unexpectedly. One moment it was going to be the happiest day of Jemma Turner's life. Then the next moment she is standing in her wedding dress in the hospital and they are telling her she is a widow before she can become a wife. Trying to live with reality she starts working again as a child psychologist, taking on cases and trying to remember what normal might be without the love of her life. That is until Eric McManis, a new friend, needs her help and her expertise. Jemma knew she cared for him but begins to notice an attraction in such close quarters. Unsure if she wants a second chance at love, Jemma struggles with growing feelings. She isn't sure if there can be two great loves in one life but she has a feeling if she does Eric just might be the man for the job. **I wrote Love Metamorphosis years ago after reading an article about a woman who lost her husband-to-be on their wedding day. It moved me so much that I felt the urge to write an entire fictional story based solely on the idea of what a person would go through if the happiest day of their life suddenly became the worst. My immediate thought was I hope she choose to live and love again if the opportunity arose to marry someone else. Thus Love Metamorphosis was born. After years of gathering proverbial dust, I decided to get a nice cover made and share this novella with everyone. Complete Cover art by White Noise GraphicsTerminé
Of Love Tales and Rabbit Tails
After six years in a progressive French boarding school, eighteen-year-old Lady Alice returns to her family's estate in Surrey, dreading the fate that awaits her-- debutante balls, an arranged marriage, and a life she does not want. She would have preferred to stay in France, teaching and writing love tales rather than living one dictated by others. Once cast aside by her own father and a stepmother, Alice finds their sudden desire for reconciliation hollow. Only her childhood best friend, Michael, Marquess Lovelace, seems like a true comfort. But as she settles back into her former home, something strange begins to happen. A black rabbit, eerily familiar, appears in the shadows-- just like the one that belonged to Edmond, her long-forgotten imaginary friend. And then she meets Count D'Arcy, the enigmatic and elusive neighbour whose presence unsettles her. His eyes, his voice, his very being remind her of Edmond. Could it be him? Or is her mind playing tricks on her? As the social season unfolds, Alice finds herself tangled in a web of mystery, romance, and the supernatural. The past and present blur, forcing her to question what is real, what is illusion, and whether love can exist beyond the bounds of reason. In the haunting halls of her childhood home and under the watchful gaze of Count D'Arcy, Alice must uncover the truth before she loses herself to the unknown. ~~~ Book One of a Duology. Followed by Unravelling Le Comte D'Arcy (coming this autumn).Terminé
Lenora's Grimoire
Cherish thought she'd escaped her past years ago--settled down in some forgotten, sleepy town, gotten a steady job at the local library, and subtly hidden the witchcraft books donated from the local covens from the public. Cherish Harmond was wrong. Her cedar tree had screamed at her before dying on her front lawn that morning. Cherish hadn't even realized trees could scream. Faced with the desperate plea for help from a stranger, the past she thought she had successfully outrun has returned, and she must come to terms with it, to use her powers for good--because if she doesn't, she might unleash a curse onto her sleepy, normal hometown forever. **Submission for ONC 2021 ***Please note, this is also available on Amazon via ebook and paperback***Terminé
